Labour – 18,889
Liberal – 1,262
Green – 824
Speaking at the count at the Meadowside Leisure Centre shortly after the result was announced Andrew said, “I am delighted to be re-elected to represent Burton and Uttoxeter which is truly the best job in the world! Thank you to everyone who has put their trust in me again and for those people that did not vote for me this time I can reassure you that I will be representing everybody in Parliament”.
“Over the past seven years I have worked hard to support all the communities across the constituency and fought for new investment and jobs. Working to get a good Brexit deal that works for the whole country will be a top priority for the new Government and going forward I will ensure that the voice of Burton and Uttoxeter is heard throughout those negotiations.”
