Fans of Burton Albion qued up to sign the campaign to bring the FA Cemntre to ST Georges park.
Local MP Andrew Griffiths took his campaign to secure the National FA centre to Bewers fans at the home game against Bradford on Saturday, with hundreds of them pledging their support.
The team was armed with clip boards were greeted enthusiastic by local fans, as part of the bringittoburton.com campaign launched by Mr Griffiths.
“Despite the winter weather, Brewers fans were keen to pledge their support to bringing the England team to St. Georges Park. There is no doubt that Burtonians want Capello and his squad to have their home in our town, and by signing up on Saturday, they have shown how committed they are to it.
The positive ruling in the High Courts last week mean that there is no nothing to stop the FA getting on with building the complex and bringing the jobs and prosperity that goes with it. The fans message is very clear, we want the England boys in Burton and we want it as soon as possible.”
