Burton’s biggest Jobs Fair will be returning for a sixth year this autumn, its organiser and local MP Andrew Griffiths has announced.
This year’s fair is being held at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium on Thursday 29th September, and is organised by the town’s MP in conjunction with Burton Jobcentre Plus and Burton and District Chamber of Commerce. JCB are also confirmed as the fair’s main sponsor again for this year, with additional sponsorship coming from Punch Taverns. It will be the sixth year it has been held, with last year’s fair having more than three thousand jobs on offer on the day.
Andrew said: “We are really excited to announce that Burton and Uttoxeter Jobs Fair is back for the sixth year. I hear almost every week of companies who are looking to hire great new staff and many have been in touch already asking whether we will be holding the fair again this year. The fairs have in previous years been a brilliant opportunity for businesses to meet a huge number of potential employees and for jobseekers to speak to loads of prospective employers all under one roof, and I am excited that it will be happening again this year.”
More details about this year’s fair, including the companies who will have vacancies on offer, will be announced in due course.
