The expenses scandal has badly damaged the reputation of Parliament and I want to make it clear to voters in Burton and Uttoxeter that they can expect the highest standards from their elected representatives.

Before my election to Parliament, I published my clean expenses and fair campaigning pledge, setting out how I will meet those standards. I will not play the system or bend the rules.
