Jobs as diverse as working at St. George’s Park and Dovegate Prison are up for grabs at Burton’s biggest Jobs Fair next week.
The event, run by Burton’s MP Andrew Griffiths, is being held at the Pirelli Stadium on Friday 2nd October from 10am to 3pm. Job hunters could see themselves working at the Hilton Hotel or at St. George’s Park or at Perform Health Centre on the site. In contrast, Dovegate Prison are looking for ten members of staff for the facility.
Speaking about the event, Mr Griffiths said: “I am really thrilled at the take up from local businesses, and the huge variety of jobs on offer. We already have more than 30 companies and over 1500 jobs on offer. What is really pleasing is the range and variety of jobs, from engineering roles at local firm Dellner, to 174 jobs with Greene King, the company that have just taken over Spirit pubs in the town. With a week to go before the event, Mr Griffiths said he hoped that this would be the biggest jobs event of the year.
