Small Business Saturday bus comes to Burton

Monday 7th November 2016 (Andrew Griffiths)
Small Business Saturday bus comes to Burton

This morning if you were in town you may have seen a big blue bus roll up at the Market Place. The bus was part of Small Business Saturday’s campaign which is an effort to get more people to shop locally and highlight the success of small businesses in our community.

The bus is doing a nationwide tour of Britain in the run up to the day itself which is Saturday 3rd December, but it was great that Burton was chosen as one of their stop off points. Small businesses are the foundation to our local economy and jobs, but it is crucial that we support them. Christmas is an incredibly important time for all retailers but more so for small retailers who often rely on a good season.
