Win free broadband for community groups

Saturday 27th November 2010 (Andrew Griffiths)

Local community groups have six weeks to submit their bids for a competition to win a year’s free broadband from BT.

This is a great opportunity for groups who are active in the community to twin what they do with a chance to win free broadband for a year. If they can help people get online or provide some training opportunities for local people then they should get their entries in to BT to have the chance to win the prize.

The BT Community Connections scheme offers the opportunity for community groups to be awarded a year’s free BT broadband, if they help the community access the internet and improves people’s ICT skills. Applications close on Thursday 13 January 2011 and more information about the scheme can be found online at www.bt.com/communityconnections
