The village beer festival in Rolleston was opened at the weekend by local MP Andrew Griffiths.
The event at Rolleston Club, Burnside, Rolleston-on-Dove saw three days of sampling of the finest real ales and ciders. More than 20 real ales from Burton and as far as St. Austell in Cornwall were enjoyed by hundreds of people over the weekend. Local food and entertainment provided by a blues band were all part of the merriment.
Andrew Griffiths, who is Vice Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Beer Group said: “This was a phenomenal beer festival for a small village like Rolleston and it had a stunning selection of beers for people to try. Everyone seems to have had a brilliant time and I hope that this annual festival goes from strength to strength.”
This was the second annual beer festival at the Rolleston Club.
